Safer Migration Project Phase III 

The nbsp;Safer Migration Project (SaMi) is a bilateral initiative of the Governments of Nepal and Switzerland led by the Ministry of Labor Employment and Social Security and implemented by local governments. Helvetas Nepal is providing technical assistance to the project. Helvetas Nepal invites applications from Nepali citizens for the following position:

   Position:  Monitoring Officer – Skills (short term)

Job Purpose: This position is responsible to carry out monitoring of the skills training programme for returnees and potential migrants, implemented by SaMi's partner Training Management Institutes (TMIs) in their respective provinces and also support in administration, monitoring and documentation.

Must have a two-wheeler valid driving license. All positions are required immediately.

Duration: Until 15 July 2021

Duty Station: Province 1, 3, 4 & 5 (SaMi Provincial Office)

Education + Experience:

Required Education, Experience and Social competence: Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences or Developmental Studies or in a relevant field. At least 2 years of work experience in skills training monitoring. Experience in Technical Education and Vocational Training sector as a trainer or in other relevant capacity will be an asset. Commitment towards gender equality, social inclusion and poverty reduction and sensitivity towards migrant labour.
