Job Description:
JobAxle is searching Mobile Developer [React Native] on behalf of its client for a Software company.
Responsibilities:
- Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
- Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
- Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
- Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
- Transition existing React web apps to React Native.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Preferably experienced or knowledgeable in developing front end web applications
- Strong HTML, CSS, responsive design, and JavaScript skills
- Knowledgeable about API development
- Experience working with Cloud Service providers such as: AWS or GCP
- Proficiency with GitLab or similar VCS
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- Strong programming, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of layout aesthetics, responsive design and mobile web development.
- Strong knowledge of web and mobile architecture
- Hands-on experience building, deploying, and scaling native iOS and/or Android applications
- Experience with build and deployment solutions
- Must be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision
Education + Experience:
- BS in Computer Science or similar field
- 2+ years working in back-end development
- Previous experience working as a React.js/React Native Developer in a professional setting, as part of your daily responsibility for a minimum of 2-3yrs
