Job Description:
- Build and maintain development infrastructure and resources.
- Understand project’s need and work with developers to fulfil it.
- Perform deployments and deployment automation as needed.
- Improve the development and deployment cycle through automation tools.
- Ensure the project and infrastructure meets security standard.
- Implement as well as enforce development and release process in project.
- Be a part of project management process and provide insightful inputs.
- Monitor system to make sure everything is running smoothly in different deployment environments.
- Responding to support requests from users of the system to assist with troubleshooting issues.
- Making sure that teams are not blocked on infrastructure requests.
- Continuous research and learning; discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Hands-on with Linux, including system installation/configuration, user administration, package management (Preferred platforms Ubuntu, Centos and Amazon AMI)
- Proficient with different network setup and related technologies (DHCP, DNS, ARP, VLANs, TCP/IP, HTTP,SMTP,HTTPS,FTP,SFTP,SSH etc.).
- Knowledge of scripting (Python and/or Bash) and language.
- Experience with GIT, or other version control source code repositories .
- Understanding and Configuring web servers, application servers, DB servers etc.
- Sharp Understanding of Client Server Communication.
- Sharp understanding and configuring of different protocols specially HTTPS and SSH.
- Hands on cloud computing, virtualization, automation, monitoring, web application deployment and security. (Preferably AWS Services)
- Hands on experience with Containerization services and Kubernetes.
- Hands on experience with logging and monitoring technologies.
- Self-reliant, Independent, fast learner.
- Good analytical and problem solving abilities.
Education + Experience:
- Graduate in Computer Engineering or Similar IT Background or Practical Experience
- Minimum 2 years of working experience as Devops Engineer
