Job Description:
- Take complete ownership of QA related activities and tasks; drive testing strategy, architecture, research and best practices
- Review and provide input on accuracy and clarity of test documentation and standards
- Pro-active involvement in project risk analysis and mitigation, continuously review problems to determine the root cause in order to prevent them in the future.
- Supervise load, performance and security testing of the application
- Build an advanced automated testing suite that is scalable and robust
- Completely manage release process and deployment.
- Continuously improve knowledge on new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, understand business perspective of the client, and plan product roadmap in collaboration with project manager and client
- Encourage, involve, motivate, lead team members for learning and achieving project and departmental goals.
- Identify training needs, organize, and coach team members on various aspects of their career growth.
- Be actively involved in ensuring implementation of organizational culture, process and standards.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Hands on testing/development experience, with an in-depth understanding of different levels and areas of testing
- Must have basic SQL skills and Database concepts
- Proven experience utilizing both structured and exploratory testing techniques
- Strong knowledge in selenium webdriver and automation frameworks
- Good knowledgeable with Gherkin, Git and project management tools
- Excellent knowledge of OWASP security guidelines for web development
- Knowledgeable of UNIX, AWS, Jenkins, and other deployment tools
- Strong Knowledge of web services, database and OOP concepts and a scripting language
- Strong desire to work in a quality focused environment, balancing multiple projects responsibilities concurrently with effectiveness and efficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Education + Experience:
- Graduate in Computer Engineering or similar IT background or equivalent practical
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience
