Job Description:

The Role

US Based company is looking for an experienced and proven software developer who will be responsible for maintaining, and extending the front end of our platform as well as take responsibility for the new front end of new product initiatives.  The ideal candidate is an experienced developer who also has an understanding of the building blocks of IT infrastructures.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Basic Requirements

  • Experience with PHP and YII2 framework\
  • Experience with MySQL, ORMs and/or active record
  • Experience with javascript, jquery, bootstrap and highcharts
  • Experience working with remote geographically distributed teams
  • Experience with AWS Cloud development
  • Experience with Linux development environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Nice to have experience with enterprise IT environments:

                    ○     Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)

                    ○    Network Infrastructure and Management

                    ○    Servers, storage and virtualization

  • Nice to have experience with monitoring products and standards:

                    ○     Cloud APIs (cloudwatch, Azure graph API etc.)

                    ○    Vendor monitoring APIs and SDKs

                    ○    Powershell and/or WMI

                    ○    SNMP

                    ○    Netflow/IPFix

  • Experience with both backend and front end development (full stack engineering)

                    ○     Python

                    ○    Perl

                    ○    AWS Lambda

  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices

Education + Experience:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's in Computer Science
