Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Full stack Developer with strong proficiency in both backend (Python) and frontend (Vue.js) development. You will lead a team of developers to design, build, and optimize scalable web applications. As the Lead full-stack Developer, you will be responsible for the technical direction of the project, ensuring that the team delivers high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of web applications using Python for the backend and Vue.js for the front end.
  • Architect efficient and scalable solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams (Design, Product, and other Developers).
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Manage the code review process and enforce coding standards and best practices within the team.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack and ensure optimized performance.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, integrating new ideas into the development process.
  • Coordinate with DevOps teams to manage CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
  • Lead discussions and decisions on architecture, data management, and infrastructure.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Backend: Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as Django or Flask.
  • Frontend: Expertise in Vue.js (or similar frontend frameworks like React or Angular).
  • Solid experience in RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Proficient understanding of version control using Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

​Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading a team of developers.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to testing frameworks and practices such as TDD/BDD.
  • Experience with GraphQL, WebSocket, or other real-time data transfer protocols.

Education + Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development.
