Job Description:

Are you a passionate WordPress Developer who is open to learn and shift to WordPress theme development? Keep reading!. 

We at Codewing Solutions, are looking for 3 junior WordPress developers to join our product development team. The product that you will build will be used by thousands of people from all around the world. 

We design and develop WordPress themes which have been downloaded more than 2 million times. If you want to be a part of a highly skilled WordPress theme development team and have no prior experience in WordPress theme development, that’s where we come. We are looking for someone who is open  to learn,  have keen interest and open to shift to WordPress theme development. 

If you are hired, you will work remotely but are expected to work from our office in Hadigaun (near Baluwatar) when the lockdown is over and it is safe to work from the office.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Develop high quality WordPress themes.

  • Share knowledge and ideas among other developers on the project or tools used, or on any innovation made during the project

  • Prepare project documents for each project, including project development report and project completion report

  • Provide support and maintenance for current WordPress themes

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

How qualified you should be?

We are looking for developers who have proven track records and can demonstrate their skills. To be considered for this position, you should have: 

  • Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery

  • Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc

  • Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers

  • Good to have  understanding of code versioning tools such as git, SVN

  • Strong understanding of PHP back-end development

  • Good to have knowledge of task runner such as Grunt

  • Should have excellent knowledge in PHP, MySQL, jQuery, Ajax

  • Should have excellent knowledge in WordPress and should able to work with designer in WordPress theme development

  • Should have good knowledge of WordPress.org theme review guidelines

  • Good communication to get work accuracy, progress and/or delays on the project tasks
