Job Description:

Codewing Solutions is looking for an accountant with an analytical mind and fantastic organizational skills to manage our daily accounting tasks. You will be responsible to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances.

You will be working directly with the Founder and Human Resource Department.

If you are hired, you will work remotely but are expected to work from our office in Hadigaun (near Baluwatar) when the lockdown and transportation are eased.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Manage all accounting and petty cash transactions

  • Analyze financial information and preparing financial statements

  • Reconciling bank accounts on a monthly basis

  • Reconcile and resolve accounts payable and receivable issues or queries

  • Checking expense vouchers/bills to standard and report any discrepancies

  • Preparing a plan for monthly cash flow and report to seniors

  • Manage tax filing and tax-related activities

  • Depositing cash/cheque, PF, CIT in the bank and respective offices

  • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when required 

  • Preparing management reports as required

  • Comply with financial policies and regulations

  • Any additional work given by seniors as and when required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

How qualified you should be?

  • Must know how to use Tally ERP

  • Good knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

  • Good knowledge of tax, VAT, banking transaction

  • Sound knowledge of MS Office

  • Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines

  • High proficiency in maths

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Candidate with two-wheeler is preferred 

Education + Experience

  • At least a Bachelor's degree with a specialization in Accounts or Finance

  • At least 1 year of experience in accounts or finance department
