Job Description:

Mavorion Systems is looking for self-driven and result oriented Javascript Engineers to come join our agile team of professionals. Our ideal candidate will have experience implementing JavaScript applications with an emphasis on optimization, API design and architecture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing new user-facing features.
  • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
  • Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
  • Working with the latest technologies like JSON schemas

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of modern javascript (ES6/ES7).
  • Experience with proper state management (such as Flux or Redux)
  • Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
  • Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, knowledge of working with GraphQL is a plus.
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools *such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial*.

Education + Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years experienced working as a javascript developer preferably React or Vue.
