Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced iOS Developer to join our team. As an iOS Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of iOS mobile applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-friendly, and innovative mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop iOS mobile applications from concept to deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers, to define and implement features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Swift programming language.
- Utilize CocoaPods/Swift Package Manager to integrate third-party libraries and frameworks.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications with backend services.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and resolve bugs, bottlenecks, and performance issues.
- Implement and maintain source control using Git.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in iOS development.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the application meets quality standards.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, estimation, and documentation.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Extensive experience in developing end-to-end iOS mobile apps, including design, development, and deployment to app marketplaces.
- Proficiency in using CocoaPods/Swift Package Manager for library and dependency management.
- Advanced understanding of core web technologies, including APIs and protocols (e.g., HTTP, REST, JSON).
- Passion for building mobile applications and keeping up with industry trends and advancements.
- Proficient in relevant technologies, including Swift and UIKit.
- Advanced knowledge of the iOS development environment and Apple's Human Interface Guidelines.
- Significant knowledge of mobile UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with source control systems, particularly Git.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming design and development principles.
- Proficiency in implementing MVP, MVVM, or other architecture patterns.
- Excellent debugging abilities and understanding of quality assurance techniques.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Education + Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software engineering with 2-3+ years as an iOS developer.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of the Swift programming language to develop clear, legible, and maintainable code.
