Job Description:

Job Location: Kathmandu

Job Role:

Graphic Design Officer should be specialized in Graphic Designing and expert in designing Information Education Communication (IEC) materials and is responsible for crafting visual designs for all projects of PSI/NEPAL. The job requires to dedicate 80% work period for graphic designing support and 20% to support in documentation of various visual materials.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Candidate should be well versed in the latest electronic publishing and graphics software for e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In- Design, Premier or CorelDraw or any other relevant software’s
  • Candidate should have an extensive experience in communication and techniques, documentation, publication, and audio-visual material preparation in relation to development fields
  • Competent and capable in the use of MS Office, specifically MS Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience in audio visuals will also be an asset
  • Experience working with Development sector or media will be an asset
  • Able to fluently speak and write in both English and Nepali

Education + Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mass communications/ journalism or other relevant fields
  • At least of five years relevant working experience
