Human Rights and Environment Development Center (HuRENDEC) is a leading non- profit making Non- Government Organization (NGO) registered in Kalikot district. Kalikot is a mountainous district of mid- western development region of Nepal lying in the southwest part of Karnali zone. It consists of 3 municipalities and 7 rural municipalities. GESI Officer is responsible to ensure and promote GESI approach to mainstream and integrate gender and social inclusion aspects into all program interventions. Be an active member of the project team to achieve the objectives of the project, work as GESI focal person in overall planning, lead the implementation and reporting of GESI related works. S/he will be engaged to enhance the capacity of the staff/ target groups/ commitee in a GESI responsive way, develop sharing and learning platform on GESI among the staffs and partners, prepare GESI related M&E plan and track progress of the project.
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in social science or development studies, Masters degree will be preferred. At least 3 years of experience working with I/NGO in the field of GESI mainstreaming into development programming.
