Job Description:

Company: Golyan Group- Hydropower

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Implementing novel methodologies in conceptual, pre-feasibility, feasibility studies, and existing operation projects.
  • Familiarity with generating and developing geological models and Knowledge of modeling and engineering software like AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Phase II,, Dips, etc
  • Supervise crews and contractors’ work activities.
  • Manage all aspects of core drilling programs.
  • Establishing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Ability to compose clear and concise technical reports.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine an appropriate location for structures/foundations.
  • Carry out supervision of the physical construction of hydropower structures, whenever required.
  • Perform geotechnical site investigations & analyses and provide recommendations, as required in design & construction.
  • Plan and conduct geotechnical exploration effectively.
  • Review of drawings, bill of quantities, planning & scheduling and technical reports submitted by the Consultant as per the requirement to ensure construction quality including time and cost control.
  • Ensure quality and completeness of the deliverables in reference to the approved Terms of Reference (ToR).
  • Review and verify the Contractor’s payment statements.
  • Ensuring that projects keep to budgets and timescales and Perform any other duties as assigned by the Company.
  • Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data
  • Providing advice and information to clients on a range of issues including, for example, proposed use, subsidence, and construction materials
  • Assessing and minimizing the risks of man-made and natural hazards in the environment
  • Managing and liaising with construction engineers, consultants, contractors and geotechnical engineers as needed

Education + Experience:

  • Should have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field
