Job Description:
- The Finance Officer is to perform a wide range of accounting and financial tasks including but not limited to record keeping, journal and ledger entries, payroll processing,management of account payables, bank reconciliations, Compliance with Income tax and VAT laws, etc.
- Required to execute all tasks in a timely and accurate manner with the aim of achieving company’s goals and objectives.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Enter data of financial transactions into the financial database for further analysis.
- Prepare vouchers and record transactions for payment of invoices, transfer of funds etc. on a daily basis
- Perform as a custodian of petty cash and submit petty cash report to Finance Manager on daily basis
- Maintain and update accounting records and invoices on the company accounting software
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and submit to reporting manager for review
- Undertake review and other work as directed by the Finance Manager, including financial reports/accounts for year end
- Make bank visits for bank transactions such as deposits, withdrawal, obtaining bank statement and other banking transactions
- Verify the invoice with Purchase Order and process for payment if it is as per purchase process
- Maintain records of all suppliers and perform account reconciliation on timely basis
- Prepare records related to TDS, VAT and other statutory compliance
- Assist during the financial and tax audits as instructed by Finance Manager
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager
Education + Experience:
- Should have Bachelor Degree/ Semi qualified CA/ACCA
