Job Description:

  • Plan, implement and oversee overall accounting strategy
  • Oversee accounting daily operations
  • Take responsibility for accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc
  • Monitor and analyse accounting data
  • Set up and monitor accounting KPIs
  • Regularly produce financial reports or statements
  • Adhere to proper accounting methods, policies and principles
  • Encourage other employees to adhere to standards
  • Perform and oversee annual audits
  • Provide recommendations
  • Meet financial accounting objectives
  • Prepare and present KPIs to stakeholders
  • Maintaining TDS, VAT, and other Related tax Records and ensuring timely tax filings,
  • Maintain the Records and compliance as per the OCR, IRD, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain Party reconciliations, Bank reconciliations.
  • Make periodic visits to sites.
  • Generate periodic financial reports.
  • Make necessary record keepings and prepare and assist for internal and Statutory Audits.
  • Do other necessary tasks and make necessary suggestions as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Successful previous experience in similar roles and position, consistently meeting or exceeding targets would be prioritized.
  • Committed to continuous growth and development through trainings, learnings.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work and use Accounting software, MS office package.
  • Recommendation and references mandatory.
  • Release letter from previous employer and salary sheet mandatory.
  • Able to join in short notice.
  • Valid Driving License and own vehicle (2/4-wheeler).

Education + Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in accounts (BBS/BBA/MBS/MBA) with minimum 3 years organizational experience or CA intermediate passed with minimum 3 years Articleship training and 3 years post articleship organizational Experience.
