PeaceWin is a non-government, not for profit making, social development organization. It works with marginalized groups, especially children, women, youths for promotion and practices of their social, economic, cultural rights. It addresses on program integration and mainstreaming of social issues (gender & caste discriminations, child marriage, anti-tobacco, HIV & AIDS Chhaupadi Pratha-female has to live in a hut far from a house during menstr ... uation), good governance/ social accountability. It was established locally in 2047 B.S (1990 AD) at Atichaur VDC-4, Oligaun and registered in District Administration Office (DAO) office in B.S. 2049 Paush 5 (20 December 1992 AD). After the restoration of democracy in 1991, Nepalese society became politically free and aware their roles and responsibilities toward development. PeaceWin was initiated by rural farmers of Bajura, Atichaur collecting Rs. 100.00 from each households from 53 family. The basic working themes were agriculture products (vegetable), sanitation, forest conservation, school enrollment of girl child, saving-credit, reduce unnecessary expenses in social functions etc.

PeaceWin is a non-governmental social development organization. It was registered in 2049 BS under Organization Registered Act 2034.PeaceWin envisions developing equitable and prosperous society through social transformations, especially for children, women and youth in partnership at different levels.  

In partnership with PSI/Nepal, PeaceWin is going to implement the "Women’s Health Project (WHP-5)"in Kaski, Tanahu, Lamjung and Nawalparasi-4 districts with an aim to improve the health status of all people through informed choice on accessing and using volunteer Family Planning (FP).PeaceWin is looking for the potential Nepali candidates for the following positions:

Position: Field Coordinator (FC)                                  

Number: Two (preferably Women)

Position base: A FC in assigned two districts

Position objectives:

The FC is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and reporting of activities in their assigned district(s)under the guidance of the program coordinator (PC)in collaboration with M&E Officer, and Admin and Finance Officer. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordination/collaboration with government
  • Manage and maintain effective coordination and collaboration with local government/authorities/Palikas for smooth implementation of the project and data reporting from network facilities.
  • Planning and implementation activities at the district and Support Sub-District Officers (SDOs) to prepare a realistic monthly work plan for the effective implementation of project activities.

Network facilities management 

  • Support in implementation of network graduation strategy.
  • Facilitate process of listing facilities for MA service as per safe abortion service guideline.
  • Conduct supportive visits to providers and owners using standard checklists and following standard approach.
  • Facilitate quality assurance visits in network facilities by skilled coaches 
  • Ensure IEC/BCC and promotional materials are used and managed well by Providers 
  • Coordinate with owner/providers for submitting Monthly Progress Report (HMIS 9.3)

Support to Sub-District Officer 

  • Ensure effective mobilization of SDOs and short-term mobilizers in community events including demand generation activities and service access.
  • Review monthly achievement of SDOs against projection and provide onsite coaching and mentoring.
  • Organize community events of larger scale with support of SDOs.

Recording, reporting, and documentation 

  • Ensure proper handling and maintenance of digital data collection device as per the PSI/Nepal’s Device Handling Standard Operating Procedures
  • Validate the reported data in the DHIS-2 system to match with source documents
  • Build technical capacity of SDOs and Providers on digital data collection system 
  • Prepare and review respective district’s programmatic and financial report and coordinate regularly with the PC for review and approval.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • An excellent computer skill on Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
  • Prior training in FP, SA, and past experience with similar projects will be an asset.
  • Good community mobilization, interpersonal, networking, communication, and management skills.

Other Attributes: 

Excellent quality of work and commitment to high standards, strong communication skills, team building and willingness and motivated for good service delivery with strong networking and interpersonal skills and comfortable to work under stress and pressures.

Education + Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, social science or related discipline with at least three years’ experience in a related field.
