Job Description:
- Assess project requirements and plan for the development team
- Design/review system architecture for the project
- Assign specific tasks to developers and monitor the status of those tasks
- Mitigate and manage project risks
- Work with others to get rid of project impediments
- Coordinate with other managers and related personnel from US office for smooth delivery of projects
- Ensure projects are delivered on-time, on-budget, and with high quality
- Continuously improve software engineering practices
- Recruit, train and mentor resources
- Grant least privilege access to resources
- Monitor resource utilization
- Monitor the performance of resources
- Ensure organizational policies and procedures are followed by the team
- Revoke access for resources rotating off the team or leaving the company
- Perform other related duties as necessary
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Experience in Java, Grails framework and GIT
- Knowledge of Agile and
Education + Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent)
