Job Description:
Contract Type: 4 Months Fixed term contract (Nov 2019- Feb 2020)
Hours 42 hours per week
Responsible to: Program manager
Overall job purpose
- Design, maintain and enhance E-commerce website
Key task:
- Design a E commerce website for online marketing of community women’s product
- Operate the online platform
- Build, test and implement high-performance, scalable, reusable code
- Manage product into page
- Maintain and enhance the website
- Orient technical part to operate the website to skilled women
- Write a monthly progress report
- Write a final report at the end of the project
Working Conditions:
- Physically demanding work on sites
- Work with rural women
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience and Knowledge:
- Web development experience focused on authoring PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in a scalable e Commerce environment
- Knowledge of Magento, WordPress (woo-commerce), drupal, etc.
- Experience in Responsive Design
- Experience in Product Management
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
- Excellent English language communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to work under pressure
Education + Experience:
Bachelor degree of computer science or relevant field
