Job Description:

  • Deliver training on the technical and strategic components of e-commerce, focusing on platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, and others. 
  • Teach students how to set up, manage, and optimize online stores, including product listings, payment gateways, and inventory management. 
  • Provide insights on e-commerce strategies, including digital marketing, SEO, conversion rate optimization, and customer engagement. 
  • Guide students in understanding the entire e-commerce workflow, from product development to order fulfillment. 
  • Help students understand key performance metrics, analytics, and how to use data to drive e-commerce growth. 
  • Develop hands-on projects, assignments, and case studies that reflect real-world e-commerce challenges. 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in e-commerce technologies and digital business strategies.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Solid understanding of both the technical (website management, payment systems, security) and strategic (marketing, SEO, customer experience) components of e-commerce. 
  • Familiarity with web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. 
  • Knowledge of e-commerce tools for email marketing, social media marketing, analytics, and inventory management. 
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in scaling e-commerce businesses and driving sales growth through digital strategies. 
  • Certification in e-commerce platforms or digital marketing (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot). 
  • Prior teaching or training experience. 
  • A portfolio or case studies showcasing successful e-commerce businesses or projects.
  • Prior experience in mentoring or conducting workshops.

Education + Experience:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in, Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in e-commerce operations, with expertise in platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento.
