Detailed Job Description/Requirement
Position: COVID-19 response Project Lead
Reports to: Executive Director
Job description:
- Lead the COVID-19 response project in rural villages of Sindhupalchowk district.
- Ensure constructive engagement of local stakeholders such as Municipality head, Ward head, FCHV (Female Community Health Volunteers), Health institutions, School Management Committee etc in all project activities.
- Ensure effective, clear and timely communication between project partners, schools, local level authorities, etc.
- Facilitate orientation and meetings with FCHVs and local women.
- Establish health crisis mitigation strategy in partnership with health institutions and hospital.
- Follow regulations/guidelines of Hamro Palo’s policies (branding, accountability, communication, meeting work standard).
- Lead and coordinate monitoring, baseline, and endline assessment process, and qualitative evaluation of all activities.
- Facilitate education support program for adolescent girls in the district.
- Perform others duties as required by the organization.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of and interest in issues such as women's rights and health, SRHR, girls' empowerment, crisis management and/or other relevant subjects.
- Excellent communication and documentation skill.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and cultural sensitivity in the field.
- Willing to travel to remote villages and learn grassroots issues.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
*Important*
This position is open for all; however candidates who reside in Chautara Municipality or have extensive knowledge and linkages in particular municipality will have an added advantage.
Education + Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field, with at least 2 years of demonstrated work experience.
