Job Description:
- Providing legal advice and guidance
- Writing contracts
- Meeting clients (individuals or businesses)
- Attending court hearings
- Reading witness statements
- Collating evidence and researching case studies
- Keeping up to date with changes in the law
- Representing clients in trials
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Familiarity with most types of security issues, particularly loan perfection issues and filing requirements
- Familiarity with most types of loan-related documents, including credit agreements, security agreements, indemnities, guarantees, subordination agreements, and inter-creditor agreements.
- Must have a strong academic record, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a team, superior judgment,
- Ability to effectively handle multiple projects
- Ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action
