Job Title: Content Manager

Location: Durbarmarg, Kathmandu, Nepal
Shift: Standard (10:00 AM to 06:00 PM) from Sunday to Friday
Position Overview:
The Content Manager role is designed to be a full-time member of our Production team and who
possess the ability to think both creatively and analytically. A content manager is a position
which adds value to the organization by creating, writing, editing & proofreading, formulating
content strategies and managing a content team to achieve our business goals.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with demonstrable creative writing skills who
perform well under deadlines and is detail-oriented.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Understanding client requirements
- Writing, editing, proofreading and creating content
- Monitoring, controlling and optimizing content
- Managing a content team consisting of writers, graphic designers, videographers, etc
- Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term business targets
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout
- Research, brainstorm with team members to develop new ideas and organize ideas
- Provide editorial, creative and technical support to team members
- Track web analytics to ascertain content engagement levels
- Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection)
- Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Required:
- Demonstrated experience of direction and production of audio-visual materials (poster/leaflets/documentaries)
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities
- Creativity and the ability to develop original content
- Excellent writing skills in English & Nepali language
- Able to listen to and comprehend client’s expectations
- Attention to detail
- Ability to meet work deadlines
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Integrity and honesty regarding confidentiality
Preferred:
- Communicate in a professional and credible manner
- Excellent research skills
- Willing to work in odd hours
- Familiarity with social media
- Any regional language skills will be preferred
Education + Experience:
- Bachelor's degree completed in any stream
- Five to seven years proven work experience as a Content Manager
