Job Summary
The Communication Officer will develop and implement the Communication Strategy and work plan for CRS projects. The objective of the Communication Officer is to promote and enhance the external image of CRS with donors, government and the general public. The Communication Officer will also be responsible for day to day communication activities including but not limited to social media activities, helping with reports, drafting success stories and best practices, newsletters and other communication materials as per the project requirement. The Communication Officer will work closely with other departments to support their communication, branding needs. The Communication Officer will be well versed with CRS Marketing and Branding policy and ensure that these are followed diligently for all communication materials produced by CRS.
Education + Experience:
- At least Bachelor’s Degree in media and communication, journalism or relevant field with two years of experience in social communication / media field.
- Preferred Additional Experience: Experience in designing publication materials and use of info graphic and experience of working with donor funded organization in communication field.
