Job Description:
- Work under the direction of the lead developer as part of the interactive team
- Assist team with the underlying technical architecture for WordPress / Concrete5 / Opencart / CMS websites, web applications, and other online content
- Troubleshoot and debug WordPress / Concrete5 / Opencart / CMS websites and web applications
- Update and modify client websites
- Manage the details on multiple projects at one time
- Coordinate with the account and interactive teams to ensure projects are on time and on budget
- Strive to stay on the forefront of development and technology trends
- Foster continued client loyalty through stellar creative that meets clients’ objectives
- Create documentation, communicate changes, and organize/conduct training for employees as needed
- Maintain effective communication and working relationships with team members
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience with PHP and JavaScript
- Proficiency with CSS and HTML
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- Fast and independent learner
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in the organisation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Gutenberg block development
- Functional skill with databases, queries, and scripts
- Knowledge of version control techniques using Git
- Experience with Grunt, Webpack, or other task runner tools
- E-commerce platform knowledge, such as ticketing and registration systems, payments systems, and shopping carts
Education + Experience:
- 3-5+ years of WordPress / Concrete5 / Opencart / CMS Frontend development experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, multimedia, or equivalent experience
