Job Description:
The Role
US Based company is looking for an experienced software developer who will be responsible for maintaining and extending our cloud footprints. The idea candidate has experience with cloud workload automation in a dynamic multi-cloud environment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Basic Requirements
- Expert in a Linux development environment
- Experience with Python, MySQL
- Experience with AWS Cloud development
○ AWS Lambda
○ AWS API Gateways
○ AWS Networking
○ AWS RDS
○ AWS EKS
- Familiarity with Azure and/or GCP environments
- Experience working with remote geographically distributed teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Nice to have experience with enterprise IT environments:
○ Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
○ Network Infrastructure and Management
○ Servers, storage and virtualization
- Nice to have experience with monitoring products and standards:
○ Cloud APIs (cloudwatch, Azure graph API etc.)
○ IT Vendor monitoring APIs and SDKs
○ Powershell and/or WMI
○ SNMP
○ Netflow/IPFix
- Development experience defining, developing and maintaining REST based interfaces
- Experience with both backend and front end development (full stack engineering)
○ PHP
○ MySQL
○ InnoDB
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices
Education + Experience:
● Minimum of Bachelor's in Computer Science
