Job Description:
- Work with pupils on a one to one or group basis as required by the classroom teacher or Additional Learning Needs Coordinator
- Motivate and encourage pupils in their learning using strategies to build self-esteem, communication and organisational skills
- To assist children in their learning in order for them to develop academically, creatively, socially and emotionally.
- Model excellent language skills at all times
- To establish acceptance and inclusion of all student/s in the classroom
- Where agreed, plan, teach and review high quality Nepali lessons within Key Stage 2
- To offer a minimum of one club per week per year
- Proactively, monitor progress of the pupil and adapt and develop learning strategies accordingly
- Investigate and source resources for the teaching and learning support team that will support curriculum planning and delivery
- To be in the assigned location for lunch time and break time supervision duty
- Assist targeted pupils in addressing knowledge gaps
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor
Experience in related field for 2 or more years
