Job Description:

Position: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Gross Salary: Attractive package reflecting competencies and experience.

Working Days: 5 days a week (Mon-Friday, 900am to 530pm)

Contract  Long Term 

Location  Maharajgunj, Kathmandu (Central Office)

Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

We at SW Nepal Pvt Ltd (Scott Wilson Nepal) helps to bridge capacities, influence policies and apply sustainable solutions for governments, development agencies and private sectors. As COO, you will drive, direct, administer and coordinate the activities of the firm in line with its established goals, values and objectives.

As an aspirant for the position, you will serve as a key advisor to the CEO and take overall responsibility for the operations and management of the company. You are required to assist the CEO by taking over the managerial and business leadership of the company.  You will also assist the CEO to formulate plans, strategies and objectives of the company. In administrative and management roles, you will take overall leadership of human resource management and optimise the organisational structure to deliver the qualitative output for company and client. You are also required to support projects and program by mentoring and deploying project management tools to ensure the successful delivery of the projects / Programme. As COO you will take a lead role to explore the opportunity to develop/promote businesses for the company reflecting in your approach to current challenges and opportunities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Passionate and ambitious professional with strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Strategic and strong management skills with experience in setting, managing and monitoring key business goals.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills

  • We give priority to candidates who live within a comfortable commuting distance from SWN office in Maharjgunj/Panipokhari, Kathmandu
  • Age is not a barrier, so highly experienced professionals are also encouraged to apply

Education + Experience

  • Master’s in any field related to the company activities.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in progressively higher administrative and managerial roles.
