Job Description:

As a business development manager you'll be concerned with improving and growing a business, by fostering and developing relationships with customers, suppliers and other partners. You may work to improve profitability through careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets, or to enhance the operation of the business, position or reputation in some way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall content management, updating and adding product information and images in various sales channel.
  • Managing day to day orders, invoicing and billing.
  • Work closely with design, buying and merchandising teams to understand the current collections and seasonal product launches.
  • Responsible for order shipment, e.g. calculating shipping quotes.
  • Provide timely and professional online customer support for complaint resolution with regards to product & fit queries, deliveries, orders and account related issues
  • Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services
  • Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management.
  • Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers.
  • Present business development training and mentoring to business developers and other internal staff.
  • Liaise with the finance team, warehousing and logistics departments as appropriate.
  • Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of e-commerce workflow from order placement through to dispatch
  • A strong interest and/or knowledge of Crafts. Experience gained in a similar role is preferable.
  • Effective communication, customer service, and relationship management skills
  • Knowledge of International marketplace
