Job Description:
- Develop strategic policies and programs for the events
- Planning, organizing, directing and controlling of overall operation of the banquet
- Negotiate on rates and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Ensure necessary supplies of goods for day to day operation accurately.
- Overseeing of food preparation
- Delivering superior food and beverage service and maximizing customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining equipment, adhering to health and safety precautions.
- Responding efficiently and accurately to restaurant costumer complains
- Checking the quality and size of the servings
- To oversee overall operation of the banquet
- Conduct periodic review along with the banquet heads
- Motivating the staffs to perform their level best, also for multitasking job
- Reviewing operational problems – guests as well as staffs
- Responsible for planning menu, promotions and events
- Responsible for training & appraisals of staff
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management from recognized University
- Fresher (Experienced in supervisor level in hospitality industry preferred)
- Must have excellent communication (oral and written) and negotiation skills
- Must be well-organized and reliable
- Sound knowledge in MS Office package
- Excellent Interpersonal Skill with pleasant personality
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Must have two wheeler and a valid license holder
Education + Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management
