Job Description:
Summary
We are looking for a qualified web designer to join our Design team. You will be responsible for building the ‘client-side’ of our web applications. You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications. We also work with some CMS (Content Management System) like WordPress themes, plugins, and Laravel.
Responsibilities
- Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
- Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
- Customize premium WordPress themes and plugins as per requirements.
- Coordinate with other UI/UX Designers, Design Lead, Business Teams to understand the requirements and transform them to functional designs.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment).
- Experience with modern website design trends.
- Basic knowledge in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
- Knowledge of WordPress themes and plugins is preferred to transform PSD to HTML.
- Knowledge of Sass and LESS.
Education + Experience:
- Bachelors in IT or Business related courses.
- At least 1+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
