Job Description:
We're seeking a motivated and self-directed Associate DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll take ownership of important aspects of our DevOps processes, primarily focusing on monitoring, alerting, and deployment within our existing AWS/EC2 and GitHub Actions environment.
While you'll have the autonomy to manage your workload and make decisions independently, senior engineers will be available for consultation and support on complex challenges. We're looking for someone with a solid grasp of DevOps fundamentals and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Utilise Datadog to monitor the health and performance of our applications and infrastructure.
- Analyse logs and metrics to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues.
- Develop and maintain Datadog dashboards to provide visibility into key performance indicators.
- Create and refine alerting mechanisms in Datadog to proactively detect and respond to incidents.
- Manage and optimise our existing deployment process using GitHub Actions.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Experience with AWS (EC2) infrastructure management.
- Prior experience with Github Actions.
Education + Experience:
- 1-2 years of Experience in related field.
