Job Description:
- Apply software engineering skills, design skills, and creative thinking to build cutting edge AI systems
- Identify and refine project requirements, solutions to potentially abstract AI challenges, and well-defined performance metrics
- Design and develop software as scalable architectures, components, API's and systems
- Translate project requirements into executable roadmaps for creating and measuring technical capability
- Work in high intensity, joint teams of software engineers and research scientists
- Support the development of Artificial Intelligence algorithms
- Write and present technical reports on development activities
- Attend conferences and meetings, alone or with a team; and
- Other duties as assigned.
- Domain knowledge of machine learning and text/data analysis/natural language processing techniques for classification, detection, key attribute extraction, segmentation, or activity detection
- Software Development Kit (SDK); Video Compression, Image Analytics, Facial Recognition, Image Recognition
- Solid understanding of linear algebra, calculus
- Fully responsible for deliverables-including definition, completion, and technical quality, as well as assuring consistency across the responsibility span
- Object-oriented programming and principles, in Python, C++, or Java
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems with at least 2 years experience in technology field
- Proven experience in effectively prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines and work objectives
- Experience in implementing large-scale custom development and/or systems integration projects in one or more phases of the SDLC
- Experience working with business users to gather requirements, writing functional and technical specifications and communicating technical requirements
- Experience with Python development
- Experience integrating a variety of AI software solutions with NVIDIA GPUs and other hardware
- Experience reading software files from multiple libraries and integrating, as available into one suite
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI); Agile Software Development Methodology; Hybrid Agile Methodology; System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Ability to communicate status updates to team leads
- Ability to author clear and concise documents
- Ability to clearly communicate needs, issues, and progress within and across functional areas within the company, in a concise, coherent, and professional manner
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
