Job Description:

Position: Admin and Finance Officer -1

Contract TypeH-SC 6

Duty Station:  Kalikot (frequetly movement in project areas)

Report to: Program coordinator 

Major Responsibility

The Admin & Finance Officer will be responsible to manage finance, administrative, human resources, operation, and monitoring as well as to ensure financial compliance with USAID regulations and the organization's policy, budget control, and financial reporting. Lead administrative, financial and procurement management for the project, establish and follow a strong system on payment procedure, funds control, cash management, and internal controls, and ensure accounting standards and conditions included in the grant. Prepare and implement charts of accounts, reporting templates, reporting from software and internal controls systems, prepare and submit financial reports, maintain good communication, networking and coordination with stakeholders. The Admin & Finance Officer will work full time on the project. 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in independently handling budgeting, financial accounting, planning and analysis in I/NGO projects, demonstrated experience in the use of MS office Package (Word/Excel/PowerPoint etc.) & Internet, experience working in a computerized accounting environment like IPAS, FAMAS, ability to lead financial management of the project/program and link this with the overall financial management of the organization

Education + Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree of Commerce, Business Studies or Equivalent,  Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent subjects is preferred.
