Job Description:
Level: Entry
Your key areas of responsibilities as an Accounts Support are:
- Ensure every transaction are recorded in accounting software (Tally and Xero) and filed properly
- Maintain Nepal office’s asset register and purchase register to adhere to Nepali accounting standards
- Calculate and process salary payments for Nepal and Australia and process payslips
- File and pay taxes for Nepal office
- Assist and ensure bank accounts, retirement fund accounts and PAN are registered for new employees
- Maintain Nepal office’s asset register and purchase register to adhere to Nepali accounting standards
- Carry out tasks to ensure that the company is in compliance with Nepal’s financial regulations and standards
- Monitor expenses to ensure they are within approved budget
- Assist in preparation of periodic financial reports for Australia and Nepal
- Maintain proper accounting records as per regulations for Nepal and Australia
Work hours: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm including 1-hour lunch break.
Education + Experience:
- B. Com./BBS
- 1+ years
- Major skills and qualifications required to meet position objectives:
- Minimum 1 year experience in the accounts field
- Experience in accounting software like Tally and Xero
- Experience with Gmail & Google Apps (Drive, Docs & Sheets)
- Strong ethics and integrity
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English
- Knowledge of acceptable Nepal accounting standards and auditing practices
