Job Description:
- Drive collaboration between Infrastructure Operations with the Product Development team to define and continually improve deployment and upgrade processes.
- Review, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize configured pipeline for reliable and robust integration and delivery of the application.
- Deliver high availability auto scaling deployments in Windows server
- Support the development team with dev tools to easily set up an environment for application development and troubleshoot configuration issues.
- Help the development team to align with adopted DevOps practices.
- Design innovative solutions via automation to eliminate any manual and repeatable deployment and support tasks and improve operational effectiveness.
- Prepare automated information, inventory, and cost consumption reports of the resources and services.
- Overseeing routine maintenance procedures and performing diagnostic tests.
- Documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
- You may need to work long hours in the run up to a product launch or during product update periods. You may also need to be on call at these times, or to handle unexpected incidents.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to thrive in a fast, high-intensity, deadline-driven environment dealing with multiple projects with minimal guidance.
- Outstanding understanding of continuous integration, continuous delivery, software configuration management, version control, and release management.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems & UNIX Systems.
- In-hand experience on Enterprise Application Architecture and Distributed Applications Architecture, both on-premises and Cloud based architectures like microservices, serverless, Containerization and VPS.
- Excellent knowledge of networking protocol, Firewall, Switch, AP etc
- Knowledge of system security, data backup and recovery
- Excellent Knowledge of enterprise monitoring systems like Graffana (Prometheus )
- Good knowledge of Database (MSSQL).
- Excellent knowledge of database, web server (IIS) replication and backup
- Solid understanding of WEB Applications & Testing tools will be an additional advantage
Education + Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience with a DevOps team involved in implementing software deployments in in-house server, Azure or AWS
