Job Description:

We are looking for a Software Engineer to take on a key role in our team and company vision going forward. The position is not only about software development but also about figuring things out and solving problems. You should be comfortable wearing multiple hats as we’d like to have a true team member rather than a sole developer.

This is what you’ll do:

• Liaise with the product owner and chief architect and establish & elaborate solutions 
• Develop and maintain production-quality to deploy these solutions in a serverless, modular architecture
• Develop tools and utilities for internal users (web applications) 
• Collaborate with the front-end team to ensure a seamless and performant user experience 
• Take ownership of the back-end architecture and contribute to key decisions about the technology stack and development processes
• Work closely with QA team to deliver maximal test coverage 
• Mentor and guide junior back-end developers as needed

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent backend development skills - Java / Spring, Python 
• Proficiency in front-end development (Angular / React / Vue) 
• Proficiency with AWS tools and services, including serverless technologies (Lambda, Fargate, ECS) 
• Experience with Integration architectures & EIP 
• Experience with domain driven design and microservices architecture 
• Strong understanding of API concepts and technologies such as REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, YAML, GraphQL, and Swagger 
• Experience in deploying, monitoring and administration of SQL/NoSQL Databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB) 
• Familiarity with API security models including (e.g. Oauth, JSON Web Token, AppKey/Digest, Digital Certificates, Basic Authentication, and OpenID) 
• Experience with Agile Engineering practices (CI/CD, TDD, etc.) 
• Experience with API monitoring tools and methods 
• Salesforce experience (a plus) 
• Insurance/insurtech experience (a plus)

Education + Experience:

• 5+ years of building production-level systems

Job Description:

As a NAV/BC Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing modifications to Microsoft Dynamics applications, ensuring alignment with customer needs and adherence to established standards. Your expertise in NAV/BC development, coupled with your understanding of the Sure Step methodology, will drive successful implementation and integration efforts within the customer engagement lifecycle.

Job Description:

• Responsible for the design and development of modifications or extensions to the standard Microsoft Dynamics applications. 
• Responsible for coding, unit testing and creating supporting documentation for Microsoft Dynamics based Solutions.
• Gains understanding of customer’s needs and collaborates with the team accordingly to complete design and testing documentation.
• Provides technical input in creating functional specifications when customizations or extensions to Microsoft Dynamics solutions are needed.
• Responsible for driving the effort to migrate the customers’ data sources into Microsoft’s sources, ensuring proper alignment of data models. Offers support on Microsoft tools for migration and integration.
• Provides support and expertise on development technologies and environments.
• Test modifications for validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to established standards.
• Participates in system and acceptance testing.
• Provides work estimates that permit prioritization and assignments to be made.
• Must be aware of the prescribed Microsoft Dynamics implementation methodology, Sure Step; understands how the development and related testing activities fit into the overall customer engagement lifecycle.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficiency in C/AL and AL coding.
• Understanding of business processes within D365 Business Central or NAV.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform is a bonus.
• Knowledge of SQL Server and database concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft Dynamics are a plus.

Education + Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) or Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) development.
