TechAxis is seeking a passionate and experienced Oracle Database Instructor to join our growing team. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective training programs on Oracle database technologies to a diverse range of learners.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led training courses on Oracle database administration, development, and related technologies.
• Tailor course content to meet the specific needs and experience levels of various audiences.
• Utilize a variety of instructional methods including lectures, hands-on labs, and case studies to promote active learning.
• Effectively communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
• Develop and maintain high-quality course materials, including presentations, lab exercises, and handouts.
• Evaluate student learning through assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Oracle database technologies and incorporate them into course curriculum.
• Collaborate with the instructional team to ensure consistency and quality across all Oracle database training programs.
• May be required to develop and deliver online or blended learning courses.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training programs.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
• Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
• Experience with adult learning methodologies a plus.
• Experience with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline) a plus.
• Proven ability to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Oracle database technologies.
• Oracle Database Administration (OCP) or development (OCP) certification a strong plus.

Education + Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 4+ years of experience working with Oracle databases in a professional setting.

Job Description:

• Write and administer ETL jobs to extract data from multiple data sources and load it into data marts.
• Integrate data from diverse sources, including databases, CSV files, XML files, and queues.
• Integrate data for batch, near real-time, and real-time latencies.
• Organize data at different aggregation levels and hierarchies.
• Write complex data transformation logic.
• Proactively monitor and optimize data job performance.
• Design and implement fault tolerance and scalability for data pipelines.
• Perform data quality, modeling, and database tasks as needed.
• Provide occasional second-level support beyond regular working hours.
• Write Java programs.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Full proficiency in the development and administration of Talend Open Studio and Talend Server.
• Strong Java programming skills.
• Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience with dimensional data modeling.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of data warehouse design and development.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal, in English.

• 5 years of experience.
