Why Women CEOs are less

Women have to suffer from many things in their careers as compared to male professionals. Starting from study to placement to being able to allocate enough time for business. Females are supposed to be more inclined towards home improvements and balancing family.

In-Organization Factors

  1. Hormones affect people's thinking in terms of leading the Organization and other behavior.
  2. CEO has to be Ruthless sometimes, but girls are taught to be polite, soft, and diplomatic. And they have this behavior by nature as well.
  3. Women are less likely to be Groomed as compared to men.
  4. Chances of getting support to think about business, profit, and everything required to be a CEO is less for
  5. Women might lack those corporate politics to get liked by BOD.
  6. Boys are taught to lead people, and the CEO is not just a position; it's the Organization's face, and the person holding this position has to lead the Organization.
  7. Governmental Organizations in Nepal offer 33% allocation for women, and this affects corporate sectors also.

Out-Organizational Factors

  1. Women prioritize their family, children, and growth, which eventually develop them as top-level candidates, not CEO. In comparison, men have got the advantages of looking only after the corporate ladder.
  2. They also hesitate to demand what they deserve. In other words, They feel like I might not be suitable for a C-Suite job.
  3. Qualification is the most important thing to be in a position like CEO. I think they don't get that qualification, whether it's a certificate, experience, or guts to lead the Organization.
  4. They are being dominated by themselves. I mean, A woman devotes a woman to be the CEO. Women are being biased toward women themselves.
  5. Girls have to leave their birth home to another, and a lot has to change in her life. In-laws, pregnancy, Child-caring are the major facts that stop women from being in the position they deserve to be.
  6. Male dominant society in Nepal also acts as a barrier for women to get success in their Organization.

Conclusion

With the rise and development of Women's Empowerment, Girls are being educated, productive, and energetic like never before. A lot has changed over the past few decades. And our research shows they have performed well in positions like Project Manager, Writing and human resource management But still, they are below average. Why? Because She is a mother, daughter, wife, Daughter-in-law. We still feel like there are some tasks at home that a female individual is responsible to operate. They don’t get enough credit for their involvement even in the office also.
