Job Description:
Tech Central is seeking a few creative and experienced visual storytellers to join our video team. To be considered for this role, you’ll need to excel at crafting an emotionally compelling narrative that hooks viewers immediately and keeps them watching until the very end. You’ll need to create a mid or longer form social video from start to finish usually sourcing content online and through your own research, scripting a memorable and emotional story.
You’ll create engaging video content for our social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and Twitter. The ideal candidate will have an obsession with digital media and a passion for finding the heart of the story and a data-driven urgency for reaching a wide audience on social media are key.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Source compelling stories on a wide range of topics including (movies, tv series, sports, video games, health, lifestyle, technology, history facts, animals, inspirational, nostalgic stuff and many more.) by mining social media and websites
- Use video editing techniques and detailed storytelling to create several videos
- Write, pitch, produce, edit videos for digital platforms
- Gather, sort and find stories in data and present data visually in videos
- Develop graphic elements and treatments for videos to engage mobile users
- Write headlines, story and descriptions for your videos to maximize engagement
- Experience editing in Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop
- Ability to recognize stories with high potential of digital attention
- Familiarity with social media platforms
- Deep knowledge of current events
- Be able to find innovative ways to tell stories
- Need excellent command over the English language
