Job Description:
Position Staff Nurse
Location: GPH, Pokhara
Purpose of the Job:
The Palliative Care (PC) staff nurse is a key member of the PC team who contribute to smooth running of PC services in the inpatient, outpatient, community and day therapy settings; undertake appropriate PC training; provide direction to less experienced staff; contribute to the strategic education and training and be involved with the various ongoing research and audit projects undertaken by the service.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Training and experience in palliative care will be an advantage.
- Good computer skill in word and excel.
- Good English language skill (written and spoken), good numeracy and interpersonal skills.
- A positive and proactive approach to patient care with genuine interest in helping people.
- Ability to work in a team and passionately demonstrate INF Nepal’s value in work setting.
Education + Experience:
- PCL in Nursing, registered with Nepal Nursing Council with minimum one year of relevant experience of working in multidisciplinary team.
