Job Description:

1. Plan the project:

  • Define the scope of the project in collaboration with top management
  • Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
  • Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project
  • Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
  • Review the project schedule with top management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
  • Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion

2. Staff the project:In consultation with the HR Manager, recruit, interview and select staff with appropriate skills for the project activities

  • Manage project staff according to the established policies and practices of the organization
  • Ensure that all project personnel receive an appropriate orientation to the organization and the project
  • Contract qualified consultants to work on the project as appropriate
  • Ensuring harmonious relations amongst all project staff and making arrangements for developing and maintaining congenial work environment in the company

3. Implement the project:

  • Execute the project according to the project plan
  • Develop forms and records to document project activities
  • Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured
  • Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
  • Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project
  • Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards

4. Control the project:

  • Write reports on the project for top management
  • Monitor and approve all budgeted project expenditures
  • Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to top management on a regular basis (monthly)

5. Technical Specification:

  • Ensure the technical team follows the specification and the drawings and designs as per the company benchmark
  • Mobilize the team with high-efficiency level and output

6. Sales Coordination:

  • Ensure the sales and marketing are headed as per budgeted revenue generation and support the team accordingly
  • Mobilize the Sales Team at the maximum level and monitor the team deliveries with the target set

7. Evaluate the project:

  • Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
  • Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase

8. Formulating and implementing objectives, strategies, policies, plans and programs related to overall company through intensive environment analysis and obtaining necessary approval from the Chairman/Executive Director

9. Preparing annual forecasts and budget for overall company in coordination with Department Heads

10. Monitoring and evaluating budgets, plans, programs, schemes and other activities undertaken

11. Timely reporting to the top Management

12. Undertaking other activities as assigned by the Chairman/Executive Director

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must possess strong personality and well mannered
  • Should have strong interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, good at influencing and persuading
  • Excellent command over English and Nepali (written, spoken, and listening)
  • Must be a computer literate
  • Ability to think clearly and react sensibly under pressure
  • Able to prioritize and plan ahead strategically
  • Enthusiastic with positive attitude
  • Strong team player
  • Willing to work additional hours

Education + Experience:

  • Must have 7+ years of related experience in the housing companies
  • Should have Bachelor's Degree
