Job Description:
Mmid Level Python Developer will be responsible to implement software enhancements and suggest improvements. He/she will be responsible to help design and implement functional requirements. Overall, he/she will be responsible to coach junior team members as well as manage testing and bug fixes.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ability to lead the team
- Have a strong sense of ownership
- Have previous design/development experience with large-scale production systems and/or data platforms with knowledge of high availability cloud-based applications
- Possess strong troubleshooting, code optimization and refactoring skills.
- Ability to write moderately complex scripts and programs for automation, tools, frameworks.
- Significant code development, a commitment to code/review of pull requests, and modest day-to-day support duties.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exposure with OOP programming languages like Java, PHP, C# etc is a plus
- Experience in game development with unity is plus
- Ability to lead and handle small team of size 5-10
- Experience working on the JavaScript frameworks (like: angular, react), Web Markup Languages (HTML/HTML5, XML) and Style Sheet Language (CSS/CSS3)
- Proficient in SQL and relational database concepts
- Experience working with PostgreSQL
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and functional programming
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
- Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
- Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
- Proficient in implementing automated unit tests
- Proficient understanding of code versioning using GIT
- Experience working on AWS based solutions
Education + Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- 3+ years full-time work experience in Python, Django framework, Fast Api.
