Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to build and update functional ERP Solutions.
Senior Python Developer responsibilities include participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle and coaching junior developers. If you’re a seasoned developer with a love for back-end technologies, we’d like to meet you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Update existing (ERP) System requirements and customize the application as needed.
- Improve functionality of existing systems
- Build efficient back-end features in Python
- Integrate front-end components into applications
- Manage testing and bug fixes
- Prepare technical documentation
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design into the code
- Assess and prioritize feature requests
- Coach junior team members
- Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and REST API
- Strong understanding of databases and SQL
- Experience in ERP applications development and maintenance is a plus
- Knowledge of JavaScript and the AngularJS framework is a plus
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Excellent knowledge of version control systems like GIT, Bitbucket, etc. including branching and merging
Education + Experience:
- 5+ years of working experience as a Python Applications Developer
- 5+ years of expertise working in popular Python frameworks (Django, Flask, or Pyramid) to include familiarity with event-driven programming
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
