We need qualified PHP developers with at least four years of experience building and customizing large-scale Drupal sites. The PHP Developer will be responsible for software development for the web-based project. This position requires a strong knowledge of PHP development, as well as working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. We're not looking for the world's top experts in these technologies. We'd rather have someone on our team who can admit they don't know the answer to every problem but is confident in his or her ability to find an answer in a short amount of time. Job responsibilities:

• Software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching.
• Work collaboratively with other internal and external developers in a multi-dev environment.
• Modify existing functionality of PHP-based code.
• Test, maintain and troubleshoot existing company web-based applications.
• Manage and improve site performance (speed, user experience, security)

Required Qualification:

• Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services, Familiarity with tools such as Git, SVN
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc. Basically Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to understand CSS/Javascript changes to have consistent style/impact across platforms and browsers
• Ability to communicate and work well with others, especially with remote team members through virtual channels such as Slack, email and project management tools. Basically, Good verbal and written communication skills
• Well-rounded knowledge of web-based technologies
• Comfortable working in a collaborative environment with team members and clients
• Experience with writing clean and well-documented code
• Familiarity with any CMS, e.g. Drupal (preferred), Wordpress, Joomla
