Job Description:
- Quality assurance tests like in-situ compaction tests in embankment fill including reinforced soil structure
- Quality Assurance for gabion filling, geogrid laying and other associated works including reinforced cement concrete works.
- Review of Quality control documents of contractor and ensuring adherence as per the requirement.
- Providing training to contractor and client on quality aspects and requirements in the project
- Monitoring quality aspects of project in reference to the checklists as per construction manual and Quality assurance plan for the project
- Preparation of Quality monitoring reports including deficiencies and improvement proposals and circulation to the line manager.
- Interacting regularly with Client and contractor for necessary guidance and improvement
- Timely response to the queries raised by any of the stake holder and party in the project.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exposure in road work including lab tests and field tests on soil. Exposure in gabion filling and reinforced soil structure will added advantage.
- Exposure in concrete technology
Education + Experience:
- Bachelor of civil engineering with 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control
