Job Description:
What you’ll do
- Work independently to manage our entire AWS and AliCloud based containerized infrastructure
- Analyze and identify and solve scalability and performance pain points of the infrastructure
- Build and Deploy docker containers for our 100+ microservices running on DC/OS.
- Evangelize and incorporate best DevOps practices
- Work with product team software engineers to write various reporting scripts and code
- Organise and design deployment strategy
- Document and track of defects for triage
- Product and business awareness to figure out system deployment strategies
- Work with front-end, back-end, and data services teams to deploy high quality product releases on time
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience with our technology stack, extensive experience with working with at least 4 or 5 AWS technologies (not just EC2) - Experience with terraform, ansible or similar.
- Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems is key.
- Coordinate product releases by building a deployment plan
- You know your art top to bottom – you should be able to teach us what we are doing wrong.
- Experience with technologies like Selenium, Apache Flink, Kafka or similar is ideal – tell us more in the interview!
- Provide technical mentorship to aspiring minds
- Desire to be a part of something BIG – bigger than yourself!
- Bonus/nice-to-have: prior experience with SaaS product(s)
