Job Description:

Regional BCC/M&E Officer is mainly responsible to ensure demand generation and M & E activities undertaken by the Local Implementing Partners (LIP) are up to the PSI/Nepal program implementation strategy and standards. Key activities include training & coaching LIP staff, implementing behavioural communication activities, recording and reporting in Management Information System/ District Health Information System II (MIS/DHIS II) and overseeing roll-out and appropriate use of HNQIS and Connect activities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience behavior change communication interventions and monitoring and evaluation of program activities at district level. (preferably at the community level)
  • Interest and experience in data quality assurance for public health programs; experience with maternal and child health preferred
  • Good inter-personal and organizational skills
  • Ability to understand and resolve operational challenges – BCC/M&E initiatives
  • Enthusiasm and a desire to make a positive impact as a team player 
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced and constantly changing environment 
  • Good spoken and written communication skills in both English and Nepali

Education + Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Public Health or other relevant disciplines 
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
