Job Description:

  • Under the supervision of the HOD/Dy. HOD/Co-ordinators, perform and execute the following clerical and other duties and responsibilities
  • Provide full administrative support to the teachers and department authorities
  • Perform data entry, documentation, printing, filing and related activities
  • Prepare attendance sheet of students for each semester and maintain its record
  • Facilitate the meeting of parents and guardians with the HOD and faculty members
  • Arrange and convey the message of meetings, seminars and training to HOD and faculties
  • Prepare progress report of students and submit to the department and to the exam section
  • Inform and distribute the class routine to part-time and full-time teachers
  • Prepare daily class conduction report and inform it to the concerned department
  • Maintain records of tutorials, question banks, manuals and distribute it to the students as per the directives of concerned authority
  • Prepare recommendation letters for students, teachers and interns
  • Prepare a letter for field visit /fieldwork as per the directives of concerned authority and keep their records
  • Make necessary arrangements for the smooth running of the classes
  • Maintain and take care of labs, department, and others in absence of office helper
  • Inform HOD/Dy. HOD/Co-ordinators about the classroom activities of the department
  • Maintain the time schedule of HOD; maintain meeting schedule with parents/guardians and other visitors.
  • Forward the leave forms of the departmental staff to the HOD
  • Assist the HOD/Dy. HOD/Co-ordinators to maintain proper attendance and tracking report for the Department
  • Assist in any ad-hoc task as required by the concerned Department

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Computer Proficiency and working with office package is mandatory
  • Must know English typing with good speed whereas Nepali typing would be an advantage
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, capacity to work in the pressure and ability to work in a team, positive attitude, attractive personality

Education + Experience:

Should have Bachelor Degree
