Job Description:
We are looking for dynamic and smart candidates to join our team in expanding our Web Development Team to help our clients from around the world build their products better.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, and other duties may be
assigned.
- Must have experienced working with Moodle Framework ( LMS )
- Write well-designed code, as well as improve existing code
- Integrate data from various sources
- Work to script various user-generated reports using SQL and Javascript/jQuery
- Setup and monitor php cron services
- Manage and operate various technologies used in the delivery of instructional and interactive programs and courseware (LMS/LCMS, dedicated website, mobile, virtual learning platforms)
- Work collaboratively with instructional designers to define design specifications and technology requirements for assigned projects to ensure compliance with LMS environment
- Generate custom analytics and reports on utilization and targeted user/learning metrics
- Supports the LMS functions which include monitoring course content, course approvals, and evaluation processes ensuring processes are completed within given timeframes
- Provides system administration and functional support to include managing activities, granting access and modifying user permissions, assigning activities, and running or scheduling reports
- Oversee system updates, upgrades and integrations
- Assist with development and oversight of content management repositories
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 2+ years of PHP and MySQL development experience
- Advanced knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery.
- Proven experience in managing corporate LMS environments (Moodle)
- Ability to prepare, interpret and execute roadmaps, flowcharts, schedules and action plans
- Experience in creating, running and distributing standard and sophisticated custom reports
- Experience integrating LMS with other systems such as HRIS
- Advanced knowledge of training technologies such as mobile apps, interactive polling websites, and games
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to interact effectively with various levels of staff and management
Education + Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Computer Science, Human Resource Information Systems, Educational Technology, Business Information Systems
- Three years of experience performing systems configuration, database management or an equivalent combination of education and experience
