Job Description:

The HR Manager is responsible for creating a healthy work environment while monitoring the department. Senior HR Manager responsibilities include overseeing the recruitment process, designing company policies and setting objectives for the HR team. The HR Manager will not be limited to the HR Process but help us shape our employer brand strategy. S/he is instrumental in contributing towards helping us achieve employee satisfaction and help us promote a better work environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategic Human Resource

  • Liaise with the Senior Management to support and contribute to corporate HR strategy formulation and implementation. Provide feedback and make recommendations on the establishment and improvement of HR systems, policies, and processes.
  • Keep abreast, research, benchmark, and implement best and cutting-edge practices in HR management and contribute to the development of the company policies, and procedures, and introduce innovation through sharing of best practices and knowledge learned.

Human Resources Services

  • Oversees the recruitment team to develop strategies and planning for the HR recruitment efforts and ensures alignment with overall HR needs.
  • Sets clear attainable objectives for staff; evaluates employee job performance in accordance with established company procedures and collaborates with staff to establish appropriate development paths.
  • Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Analyzes trends in placement, turnover, retention, and grievances to determine support or action needed to adjust unfavorable trends.
  • Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Plan with the development of the section’s communication materials and support their production (HR newsletters, flyers, etc.)

Learning and Development

  • Designing an L&D strategy/training plan, creating the annual training calendar, conducting periodic L&D needs assessments with business, & adapting the L&D offerings accordingly.
  • Supporting staff and managers for career development, including providing a framework for career conversations and meetings. Providing and organizing career coaching services.
  • Working with appropriate parties to ensure that high quality, relevant training programs are designed, developed, sourced and rolled out to staff. Taking the lead on defining requirements, internally designing & developing or sourcing external vendors for learning activities, managing the relationships with vendors.
  • Researching best and cutting-edge practices in L&D and making recommendations to management.
  • Monitoring, evaluating and improving L&D interventions. Monitoring L&D expenditure.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in MS Office package
  • Drive for results orientation with proven experience in managing multiple tasks and staying flexible in a dynamic and changing environment with competing priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and improve processes, exercise mature judgment and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Education + Experience:

  • Master Degree in HR, Management or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in human resource management preferably in a tech company.
